Balthazar Baker was a member of The Blacklist.
Background[]
Balthazar Baker was a mafia enforcer, one of the best according to Raymond Reddington. He gained infamy during the 1970's when his organization went to war with the Italians. During that period, Balthazar carried out more mafia assassinations than any other enforcer. People started calling him Bambino and with time just Bino. Balthazar began a payday loan and money laundering operation out of the Seventh Ward District in D.C, using an underground network of locals on his payroll to move up to 500,000 dollars a week. The operation ran as a pipeline with the ”baton” sent to courier to courier, with each only knowing the next stop in the line until it eventually reached Baker at his underground chess club the ”Castle”.
