As Red sets Liz and the Task Force on the trail of an eco-terrorist with a mysterious connection to Alexander Kirk, Tom takes matters into his own hands.

The title is a reference to Gaia.
Post Office
1. The task force censured Ayers for his tactics of "A hundred die so that a thousand may live." However, their actions qualify as "aiding Raymond Reddington's syndicate so that The Blacklist may perish".
  1. A: Ayers' victims were seen as innocent and included children. The blacklisters and non-blacklisters that Red has killed on the other hand are international criminals, or mass murders, and they put innocent lives at risk.
  2. Q: Red is using the task force to destroy his rivals. Because of the FBI, Red's enemies are deceased and/or ruined. Red has increased the power of his syndicate and his control over the United States government. When combined with the Artax Network, the Cabal, and the destruction of Milos Kirchoff's syndicate; Red can shatter his enemies.
Elizabeth Keen
1. Why did Keen lie to Red and state that Rostov had not communicated with her?
  1. A: It could have been for 2 reasons. One is that she feared Red would trace the feed. Another is that she was going along with her plan of trusting Rostov even when she is not communicating with him.
2. Keen said “that’s our guy” after seeing Ayers in the surveillance recording. Why was she so certain?
3. Keen’s life is starting to resemble the “Star Wars” universe.

1. Why does Red have no other trackers than Glen Carter? Glen enjoys annoying Red.
  1. A: It might not be that Red doesn't have other trackers, but that Glen has been proven to be very good at his job and can always find someone for Red in a timely manner.
2. Have Red and Sebastian Reifler met before? Sebastian Reifler knew Red on sight.
3. How did Red know that Sebastian Reifler was treating Rostov?
4. How did Red know so much about Owen's son and so little about Owen and his wife? Red knew that Owen's son was sick and being treated by Rostov's doctor. Red seemingly did not know Owen's real name or anything about his personal life. If Red knew about Owen's son, he could have had the FBI or Glen find the boy, which would have led him to Owen and Sebastian Reifler faster.
Owen Ayers
1. Why did Ayers think that a nuclear meltdown would alter government policy? Nuclear power and petroleum are still used despite oil spills and nuclear meltdowns.
2. The inspector in the convenience store was right. Health dangers are prevalent in nearly everything. Focusing on the energy industry ignores other health dangers.
3. Why did the helicopter explode?
4. Why did Owen warn Maya? She was equally guilty of not caring about the dangers of nuclear power.
Constantin Rostov
1. How did Rostov locate Keen’s computer?
Samar Navabi
1. Why did Navabi say that Aram made the “wrong call”? She knows he is not a field agent. There was enough time left for Cooper to step in and make the call.
  1. A: She thought he killed Owen Ayers before they could take him down. Samar didn't know that Cooper was the one who authorized the kill.
2. Navabi was right about the Post Office. Loyalty is shaky and emotional wounds are prevalent.
3. Why is Samar not returning to Mossad?
  1. A: She had considered it after a fight she had with Aram who was angry at her for accusing him of something he didn't do. She decided against it knowing she had unfinished business with his girlfriend, Janet.

1. How did Ressler know of Aram’s girlfriend?
Aram Mojtabai
1. When was Aram’s first kill?
  1. A: He killed a member of Anslo Garrick's Wild Bunch.
2. Why did Aram not consider the option of shutting down the rotor mechanism?
  1. A: He looked for a non-lethal option first, such as forcing Ayers to land or take control of navigation.
3. Why was Aram angry with Samar for something that Cooper did? He had told her that he'd never kill again.
