J. R. Orci (sometimes credited as Rick Orci) is a Mexican-American and Cuban television producer and writer.
Early Life[]
He was born in Mexico City, to a Mexican father and a Cuban mother. His mother fled Cuba after Fidel Castro came to power. He was raised in Mexico City, Canada, Texas, and Los Angeles. He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin.
Career[]
He has written episodes of Fringe, Hawaii 5-O (2010) and Alias amongst others. He is known as one of the creators of The Blacklist: Redemption.
