Unanswered Questions[]

  1. Elizabeth Keen
    1. Why did Keen refuse to tell Red about Jennifer's whereabouts?
      1. A: Liz understood why Jennifer wanted no contact with Red for abandoning her and Naomi Hyland.
  2. Raymond Reddington
    1. What was the car accident Lomay referred to?
      1. A: The car accident in the previous episode, the one where Garvey escaped from Red.
    2. How did Red close the restaurant?
      1. A: He most likely bribed the owner.
    3. Why did Red say “death switch” instead of fail-safe or fail-deadly?
      1. A: Possibly because Red is a Cold War era relic and not much into modern terminologies. While in recent times a dead man's switch refers to a fail-safe mechanism that halts machinery in absence of an operator, during the Cold War that term referred to an automated counter-strike in case the chain of command had been incapacitated or eliminated. Both sides had such contingency plans in place, thus triggering Mutual Assured Destruction.
    4. What was the “bonus prize”?
      1. A: Possibly money.
    5. Did Red choose the newspaper story at random or had he heard rumors of New Haven?
  3. Nicholas Tyler Moore
    1. How did Moore recruit his followers?
      1. A: It was silently revealed at the end of the episode that some of the “elders” were aware it was just a story. It's likely they all agreed with Moore to start the cult.
    2. How did Moore fund New Haven?
      1. A: It probably started with his royalties as an author for his book. Because it's mostly natural, not much funds would be needed.
  4. Jennifer Reddington
    1. How did Frank contact Jennifer?
      1. A: Possibly Naomi told him where Jennifer was and to contact her just in case something went wrong.
    2. Why did Jennifer ask Red not to contact her again?
      1. A: She was angry over Red's abandonment of her and Naomi.
  5. Naomi Hyland
    1. Who killed Naomi?
      1. A: It could have been a hit by Ian Garvey, a remnant of Milos Kirchoff's syndicate, or something unrelated to Reddington entirely.
    2. Why was Naomi killed?
  6. How did the FBI locate the house?
    1. A: It's assumed talking with the woman, she also revealed where the general direction of New Haven was.
  7. Why was Judson in prison?
    1. A: He was apprehended at a gunfight crime scene and during interrogation he somewhat admitted being associated with a fugitive that shot dead a man.
