Singleton gets woken up by Reddington who is there to intimidate him, he reports this to Harold Cooper and Liz. During this report, Singleton says that there is a double agent in the ranks of the unit where he works, a crooked police officer that works for Nash syndicate called Damascus. Every time they have a lead on the Nash syndicate, the lead happens to disappear, and he says he has a plan to draw out that informer, by putting out false intelligence that they are going to meet with Navarro who agreed to tell them who Damascus is. At his office, he tells Garvey in the bathroom about the meet. Garvey sends a man to check out where this supposed meet is, and while Singleton and Keen are spying, the man calls Garvey on his burner. Singleton is able to trace the call to another burner, which Aram traces and tells Singleton later over the phone that it came from the address 447 Skidmore. Singleton recognizes the address, his own office. He tells Keen to call the number, and after a short deliberation, she does. He hears the buzzing and finally finds the phone in Ian Garvey's desk drawer. Ian then confronts Singleton and threatens his family if he does anything stupid, and says to get in the car. He is found later in the day, dead with multiple stab wounds and left out in an alley.
