Background[]
The Protean is a deadly assassin based in Europe that works for governments, corporations, and crime syndicates. He used the identities of the recently deceased whose death certificates had not been registered and filed. This particular modus operandi of figuratively changing forms, or in this case identities to avoid detection and identification, created his name. The story of Proteus, a shapeshifter from Greek mythology. The Protean previously did a job for Neville Townsend in Washington, D.C, at the Petworth District.
