Rachel Brosnahan is an American film and TV actress who played Lucy Brooks in NBC's The Blacklist.
Early Life[]
Brosnahan was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, but was raised in Highland Park, Illinois from age four. She graduated from Highland Park High School and then attended NYU Tisch Scool of the Arts in the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, graduating in December 2012.
Career[]
Brosnahan is best known for her supporting film roles as Lisa in The Unborn and as Genevieve Duchannes in Beautiful Creatures and for her recurring role as Rachel Posner, the former prostitute/escort-turned-waitress in the Netflix hit House of Cards, as well as the Amazon Video series The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.
In television, Brosnahan has appeared in single episodes on shows such as In Treatment, The Good Wife, CSI: Miami, Grey's Anatomy and Mercy, and appeared in recurring roles on the shows Black Box, The Blacklist and House of Cards, with the Netflix political drama being her longest television role to date.
