Roy Cain comes from a long linage of career prison adminstrators and wardens, dating back to his great-great grandfather, who worked at the Louisiana State Penitentiary (Angola) and used to hired out the prisoners as forced labor, starting a side business that would be carried on by all of Cain´s following ancestors, including Roy, who became a well regarded criminal contractor that would accept any job as long as the price was right. For that, Roy would place selected prisoners with unique skills at the Wallens Ridge state prison into solitary confinement and use them to commit all sorts of crimes, from abductions to contract killings.
