• The title is a reference to the Sicilian Code of Honor.
• The rarest stamps ever produced in Italy were a misprint of the color on a specific Italian stamp which colloquially became known to history as the Sicilian Error of Color.
• This episode marks the second overall appearance of Cynthia Mallet, an expert in rare antiquities last seen appraising Red’s nesting casket in the Season 7 episodes “Victoria Fenberg” and “Cornelius Ruck”.
