“The Skinner” is the first episode of season 9 of The Blacklist and the hundred and seventy-fifth overall.
Synopsis[]
A secret group conspires to steal a shipment of the world's foremost microchip fabricator, TSG. Their plans are foiled by FBI Special Agent Dembe Zuma and his partner, Special Agent Laver, but Laver is killed in the process, and Dembe is hospitalized with 3rd degree burns.
The only lead Zuma has on the group after six months of undercover work is a tattoo shared by its members, an "S" engulfed in flames. He shares this intel with now-retired Harold Cooper when he comes to visit him in the hospital.
